[On Saturday afternoon, villagers may notice a peculiar sight while out and about in their daily routines. Or maybe they've learned not to question anything that happens here, so they won't pay any mind to Freyjadour as he carries a damp and shivering Mithos through town in what is generally described as 'bridal style'.

...There's an explanation for this. Really.

It has something to do with being unceremoniously dumped into the fountain upon return from a death penalty removal, a minor inconvenience known as pain-killers, and a major inconvenience known as muscular atrophy.

Feel free to awkwardly run into them at any point during the trek to House 11. Tread close enough and snippets of arguments are likely to be heard:]

Put me down...! I am fine.

You can't even stand. Stop struggling, please.

[Or maybe something like:]

I don't need your help.

Yes, you do...just calm down.

[They stop to rest a few times along the way, because while Mithos isn't exactly heavy, he still isn't exactly light either. And he refuses to make this easy on Frey, putting up a constant sruggle against his hold. Good thing there are benches to sit on. And awkward, sullen silence to enjoy, in which Mithos pointedly looks the other way and Freyjadour just has a patient if long suffering look on his face.]

[LATER ACTION - House 11]

Throughout the rest of the day, Mithos has taken up temporary residence on the living room sofa of House 11. The side effects of the drugs have worn off, but he's still in no condition to go off on his own. According to Frey, anyway. Regardless of his condition, a house full of humans is one of the last places he wants to be. House members, come gawk at the grumpy kid in the living room all you want. He defnitely looks like he could use a little company, right? ...Right?]

[OOC NOTE: As you probably expected, responses in the earlier part will come from both Mithos and Freyjadour. Surprise on who will tag first, decided on a thread by thread basis. Later action portion may or may not include threadjacking from Frey or Kaori. You have been warned, friends.]

[Quite frankly, the last thing Yuan wants is for Mithos to gain allies. He's already under Martel's protection and lord knows who else is giving him their pity.]

Hm. Just don't expect him to return the favor. He won't hesitate to harm you at the first opportunity he gets.

[...And now for a strange moment where he agrees with what Yuan is saying. That just proves how ridiculously illogical this whole situation is.]

You're not obligated to have anything to do with me. [This is meant for Frey, though his glare is directed elsewhere. It's...kind of awkward to look at him from this position.]

I know that. [In part. He knew either way he would want to protect Kaori from Mithos if he treated her insensitively again.]

[Yuan's not entirely sure if Frey being human is the problem here. Mithos seems to lash out at just about anyone, regardless of their race. Still, he won't comment on that. He'll just raise an eyebrow and watch the two continue their little 'argument'.]

Not clear enough, it would seem. [...speaking of not clear enough, his vision is spinning a little. He ducks his head to squeeze his eyes shut and try to refocus.]

[He notices the odd movement by Mithos, and decides to voice a query on it.]

Are you alright? I told you you shouldn't be struggling so much.... The Malnosso almost always drug people.

[Yuan notices the movement as well and it leaves him to wonder just what really happened. Was it a Malnosso kidnapping, or was it something more?]

Don't tell me what to do. [Totally fine. ...He just hasn't lifted his head or cracked open his eyes again. And ugh ugh ugh Yuan is still there watching all of this.]

Does your head hurt? Can you see straight? [Sadly, healing magic didn't really do much to circulate drugs out of someone's system.... only time does that.

Sorry for completely ignoring you, Yuan, he'll get back to you in a moment once he confirms that his passenger isn't going to pass out. Or you can just speak up again, that would work too.]

[Speak up and say what? He's actually quite interested in the answer to that question, so he's not about to interrupt. Let's try and gauge what sort of a state Mithos is in right now.]

[Let's not do that, Yuan. Let's leave Mithos alone and walk away, because if memory serves you damn well know how to do that.

The dizzy spell passes. He unscrews his eyes and slowly raises his head, aggravated.] I'm fine.

[.....The look he sends Mithos in response is mildly suspicious. He isn't quite sure he can believe that, but he will accept the answer nonetheless.]

.....Tell me if anything changes. I do not wish to have you passing out on me.

[Tempted as he is to point out that Mithos passing out would be a blessing, he'll just bite that remark back.]

If you're honestly that worried about him, you should just take him to the clinic.

No. I refuse to go there. [That is the worst suggestion ever, Yuan...not that he would expect any less from you. Going to the clinic would mean even more people he does't trust sticking their noses in matters that don't concern them.

And he isn't going to pass out, perhaps through sheer will power.]

If I have to, I will take him. But we have several people with healing magic back at the house, at least... and I know some first aid, if there are more then drugs involved. [Really, he would never say so, but he had already surmised Mithos would outright refuse the clinic.]

... In that case, I'll wish you luck with keeping Mithos in check.

[Because, let's face it. The moment Mithos is well enough to harm someone, he likely will.]

Or you'll 'take care of it' again, Yuan? [Hey Yuan, remember that time you killed me? Do you? Do you?]

[....That....

He would like to think Mithos meant that in a kind light, but it certainly didn't seem to be such a case. Either way, he was confused.]

'Take care of it'?

[He flinches, but only for a second. After that, he's right back to his usual expression of mild anger.]

If I must. [Martel wouldn't approve, but... Well, she wouldn't approve of Mithos harming other people, either.]

I suppose I should expect no less from a filthy traitor.

[He feels like he is missing something here, and looks from the blond in his arms to Yuan, confusion clear on his face.]

Who exactly are you?

[Again with the traitor insult. Mithos, will you ever learn?]

I'm what one might call an old friend. That is, until I became a 'filthy traitor' to Mithos' goals.

[No, he really won't. And there are a number of things he could interject with here, but...he chooses carefully.]

[He gets the feeling asking more would be prying. Either way, the man's presence was upsetting the other in a situation where he would prefer cooperation.]
