[On Saturday afternoon, villagers may notice a peculiar sight while out and about in their daily routines. Or maybe they've learned not to question anything that happens here, so they won't pay any mind to Freyjadour as he carries a damp and shivering Mithos through town in what is generally described as 'bridal style'.

...There's an explanation for this. Really.

It has something to do with being unceremoniously dumped into the fountain upon return from a death penalty removal, a minor inconvenience known as pain-killers, and a major inconvenience known as muscular atrophy.

Feel free to awkwardly run into them at any point during the trek to House 11. Tread close enough and snippets of arguments are likely to be heard:]

Put me down...! I am fine.

You can't even stand. Stop struggling, please.

[Or maybe something like:]

I don't need your help.

Yes, you do...just calm down.

[They stop to rest a few times along the way, because while Mithos isn't exactly heavy, he still isn't exactly light either. And he refuses to make this easy on Frey, putting up a constant sruggle against his hold. Good thing there are benches to sit on. And awkward, sullen silence to enjoy, in which Mithos pointedly looks the other way and Freyjadour just has a patient if long suffering look on his face.]

[LATER ACTION - House 11]

Throughout the rest of the day, Mithos has taken up temporary residence on the living room sofa of House 11. The side effects of the drugs have worn off, but he's still in no condition to go off on his own. According to Frey, anyway. Regardless of his condition, a house full of humans is one of the last places he wants to be. House members, come gawk at the grumpy kid in the living room all you want. He defnitely looks like he could use a little company, right? ...Right?]

[OOC NOTE: As you probably expected, responses in the earlier part will come from both Mithos and Freyjadour. Surprise on who will tag first, decided on a thread by thread basis. Later action portion may or may not include threadjacking from Frey or Kaori. You have been warned, friends.]

[...had something happened? Kratos is finding himself curious and moreso concerned. He really hadn't stopped caring for his former pupil, regardless of what had to be done... or so he's been told, as Mithos' death still hasn't occurred from the point in time he's from. He watches Frey approach with Mithos.]

[He expected his protests to be futile, but that doesn't make it any less aggravating. And you would just stand there and watch, Kratos... Do something useful for once and go away. Mithos remains tense in Frey's arms, burning holes into Kratos with his glare.

He isn't going to be the first to speak, and the traitor better keep his mouth shut too. This is bad enough without his help.]

[Freyjadour, finally noticing the tension because it really is difficult to not notice when someone you carry is that tense, pauses in step as he decides to check on the status of the blond in his arms.]

You are tense.... is it your leg? Or another injury?

[Mithos' leg? Had something further happened? ...or perhaps it was possible that the death penalty had been removed. Either way, he slowly approaches them.]

[He shakes his head fiercely.] It's nothing - just keep going. [...dammit, is Kratos walking toward them? Dammit dammit dammit--]

Are you sure? Your leg may not be moving properly at the moment but it will eventually... you need to keep an eye on the state it is in. [It'a only after a moment he notices the man approaching.]

...is he all right? [To Frey, as he intentionally avoids eye contact with Mithos.]

What are you doing here, Kratos? [Avoid eye contact all you like. He's stealing the conversation with the intent of running it straight into the ground.]

....You two know each other? [Looking from the man who is apparently called 'Kratos' to Mithos. He was meeting an awful lot of people who knew the other today.....]

He just returned from a stay with the Malnosso.

I see. ...yes, we do know each other. [And that's all he'll say on the matter, still not looking at Mithos.]

[If you're going to crawl over to bother him, you could at least acknowledge him, you disgusting traitor. It's either that or let him continue to will away your existence and go away.] Answer my question, Kratos.

I see.... [He won't say anymore, uncertain on how to handle this and uncertain why the other was avoiding the question Mithos posed.

Then again..... He knew nothing about how they knew each other.]

[Still avoiding eye contact with Mithos, but answering his question:] I have the right to wander these streets freely just as much as you do.

Trash like you may have the right to walk about freely, but you have no right approaching me. How long will it take you to learn that? [...as he tries to maintain the illusion that he's not half ready to pass out thanks to drugs and a lack of food.]
