[On Saturday afternoon, villagers may notice a peculiar sight while out and about in their daily routines. Or maybe they've learned not to question anything that happens here, so they won't pay any mind to Freyjadour as he carries a damp and shivering Mithos through town in what is generally described as 'bridal style'.

...There's an explanation for this. Really.

It has something to do with being unceremoniously dumped into the fountain upon return from a death penalty removal, a minor inconvenience known as pain-killers, and a major inconvenience known as muscular atrophy.

Feel free to awkwardly run into them at any point during the trek to House 11. Tread close enough and snippets of arguments are likely to be heard:]

Put me down...! I am fine.

You can't even stand. Stop struggling, please.

[Or maybe something like:]

I don't need your help.

Yes, you do...just calm down.

[They stop to rest a few times along the way, because while Mithos isn't exactly heavy, he still isn't exactly light either. And he refuses to make this easy on Frey, putting up a constant sruggle against his hold. Good thing there are benches to sit on. And awkward, sullen silence to enjoy, in which Mithos pointedly looks the other way and Freyjadour just has a patient if long suffering look on his face.]

[LATER ACTION - House 11]

Throughout the rest of the day, Mithos has taken up temporary residence on the living room sofa of House 11. The side effects of the drugs have worn off, but he's still in no condition to go off on his own. According to Frey, anyway. Regardless of his condition, a house full of humans is one of the last places he wants to be. House members, come gawk at the grumpy kid in the living room all you want. He defnitely looks like he could use a little company, right? ...Right?]

[OOC NOTE: As you probably expected, responses in the earlier part will come from both Mithos and Freyjadour. Surprise on who will tag first, decided on a thread by thread basis. Later action portion may or may not include threadjacking from Frey or Kaori. You have been warned, friends.]

[Victory. Silver's pretty content to finish his victory eggs and victory ice cream quietly without talking to Mithos.]

[Silence is more than okay with him. Look, he's eating. The tiniest bites, with more reluctance than necessary. But eating nonetheless. He doesn't relax a single sinew of muscle while Silver's still in the room, hating how the other is bothering to take into consideration how uncomfortable he is with all this.]

[If he leaves, he can't guarantee that Mithos will eat. If he leaves, Mithos won't learn to adapt to uncomfortable situations. If he leaves, Mithos will still be uncomfortable, so it doesn't matter.

...This ice cream is so good.]

[He can't help but be reminded, very briefly, of the dinners he shared with Sayo when she first took him in - quiet, tense, and waiting for the moment when he could shut in on himself again. ...Fortunately for his sanity (...insanity?), the much higher level of raw discomfort here cuts down such a stupid comparison.

Still nibbling away on that omelet. ...And he isn't touching the ice cream. Seriously, food is not supposed to look like that.]

[...Dude, what is wrong with you. Ice cream is an amazing gift from the heavens. Silver won't say anything until Mithos is actually done with his omelette, though.]

[The minutes pass slowly; he's overly aware of every slight movement Silver makes, of the sound of every hesitant bite he chews. He finally sets his fork down, plate empty.

That the ice cream is half melted by now isn't making it any more appealing. What are all those little rainbow colored things on top?]

[...Alright, no, this is a horrible horrible thing and needs to be stopped.] What are you staring at it for?

[imatreenow]

[an annoyed look at Silver that clearly says I ate the damn omelet, so why aren't you gone?] ...Because I'm not eating that.

It's the best part.

I fail to see why.

[tsuntrader]

How can you fail to see it? It's delicious. It's ice cream. [This is totally important, okay?]

[But...look at it.] I already ate.

[tsuntrader]

And it has the best toppings. It even has some of those really good elf cookies broken up on top of it.

[........What. What the hell are elf cookies? He's sneaking another suspicious glance at the bowl of ice cream now.] ...In that case, I really have no desire to eat such filth.

[tsuntrader]

Have you ever even tried those things? They're delicious.

[imatreenow]

No, and I don't plan to. [He's...definitely taking this as an insult, not the thoughtful gesture it was intended to be.]

[tsuntrader]

What about you? Can you make really good cookies? [If so you must share okay]

[imatreenow]

[wh........at.] I don't waste my time on such trivial things.

[tsuntrader]

What do you waste your time on?

[imatreenow]

...That's nothing you need to know. [But really, he shouldn't be talking about 'wasting' time when he does little with his that isn't brooding or moping.]

[tsuntrader]

Gotcha. [That's what he thought.]

[imatreenow]

[...What's that supposed to mean? But maybe if he's silent, the 'conversation' will die, and he hopes it's a painful death. So he just scowls.]

[tsuntrader]

...What? [Or it can just prompt Silver to wonder why Mithos seems to be scowling marginally more than usual. Whoops.]

I didn't say anything.

[More importantly:] Why aren't you gone yet?

[tsuntrader]

I still haven't asked you why you're here. I don't have a problem with it, but it doesn't strike me as something you'd do if you could help it.
