[On Saturday afternoon, villagers may notice a peculiar sight while out and about in their daily routines. Or maybe they've learned not to question anything that happens here, so they won't pay any mind to Freyjadour as he carries a damp and shivering Mithos through town in what is generally described as 'bridal style'.

...There's an explanation for this. Really.

It has something to do with being unceremoniously dumped into the fountain upon return from a death penalty removal, a minor inconvenience known as pain-killers, and a major inconvenience known as muscular atrophy.

Feel free to awkwardly run into them at any point during the trek to House 11. Tread close enough and snippets of arguments are likely to be heard:]

Put me down...! I am fine.

You can't even stand. Stop struggling, please.

[Or maybe something like:]

I don't need your help.

Yes, you do...just calm down.

[They stop to rest a few times along the way, because while Mithos isn't exactly heavy, he still isn't exactly light either. And he refuses to make this easy on Frey, putting up a constant sruggle against his hold. Good thing there are benches to sit on. And awkward, sullen silence to enjoy, in which Mithos pointedly looks the other way and Freyjadour just has a patient if long suffering look on his face.]

[LATER ACTION - House 11]

Throughout the rest of the day, Mithos has taken up temporary residence on the living room sofa of House 11. The side effects of the drugs have worn off, but he's still in no condition to go off on his own. According to Frey, anyway. Regardless of his condition, a house full of humans is one of the last places he wants to be. House members, come gawk at the grumpy kid in the living room all you want. He defnitely looks like he could use a little company, right? ...Right?]

[OOC NOTE: As you probably expected, responses in the earlier part will come from both Mithos and Freyjadour. Surprise on who will tag first, decided on a thread by thread basis. Later action portion may or may not include threadjacking from Frey or Kaori. You have been warned, friends.]

[But why does he feel like it? Humans have been doing whatever they feel like doing for a long time, but always to their own benefit. It doesn't make any sense...

So the best answer is no answer. Just more sullen silence.]

...You've gotta be hungry. I know I am. Throwing a few extra scoops of ice cream in a second bowl or making some extra eggs isn't a big deal. It's not that complicated.

[But it is complicated. Hatred is easy to learn, but nearly impossible to unlearn.]

...Fine. I don't care.

[Awesome. Time to go make some god damn food. Brb, Mithos.]

[...Then he's shifting his attention back to Kaori. He might snap otherwise. He really wonders how she can tolerate living here, he really does. He tries to relax a little, but it's hard when he knows Silver will be back soon. ]

[Enjoy the solitude while it lasts, because it's not long before Silver comes back with food. Today's omelette day! And everyone gets them. In fact, he's offering them to his Pokémon first. One with a giant raw fish for Feraligatr, one with an additional raw egg for Sneasel, and one with... An assortment of hot peppers for Murkrow.

Trip two! Enjoy your own omelette, Mithos. It's rather delicious! Silver can make some awesome eggs. ...Of course, it's also the only thing he can make, but. Details. It's accompanied by a rather generous amount of ice cream of different flavors with a billion toppings.

Silver will find a nice place to sit on the floor that's an adequate distance away from Mithos so he doesn't feel quite as cornered. The only difference between his food and the food he gave to Mithos is the fact that he has an absolutely inhumane amount of ice cream. Ice cream is awesome, okay? Okay.]

[On each return, Mithos warily follows Silver with his eyes, hating everything about this. He does little more than stare coldly at the food set in front of him...and sniffle. Stupid fountain. Stupid grumbling stomach. Stupid Silver, still sitting too uncomfortably close because anywhere in the room is too close.

...Also, some of these ice cream flavors? Food is not supposed to be this color. He's pretty sure.]

[It takes a bit for Silver to even notice Mithos staring at his food instead of eating it. Once he does... Well, it takes everything in him to keep from saying something. Saying something would just make things worse, wouldn't it?...]

[Now he'll turn his head to glare pointedly at the wall, to avoid eye contact with Silver as much as possible. Still not touching his food. Accepting it would be the same as accepting that Silver wants to help him, and that's just...a can of worms that's best left tightly shut.]

[tsuntrader]

[...] If you won't eat it because you're not a charity case or don't want anything from me or whatever, you could at least eat it because it would be a waste of food to leave it untouched.

[Nope, not caring.]

[tsuntrader]

[...Alright, fine. Maybe if he doesn't focus on the food, something will happen.

...Speaking of not focusing on the food-] What did you mean last time I ran into you? [...] Before all the world switching stuff.

[imatreenow]

...You can't expect me to answer such a vague question. [...still glaring at the wall by the way. And ugh don't remind him of 'all the world switching stuff'.]

[tsuntrader]

"...If I can manage to stay here, I have a bunch of special half elf stuff that I expect you to hate me for." [It's pretty clear what part he's focusing on.]

[imatreenow]

[...Okay, fine, he'll glare at you instead, Silver.] I believe I made myself very clear. [Yup, he's focusing on the part about how much you should hate him and missing the point. But what else is new.]

[tsuntrader]

"If I can manage to stay here".

[imatreenow]

[.......Oh. He...didn't expect him to latch onto the implications of that 'if'. Such a small word, but so heavy. His tone had already been cool, but suddenly it is frigid.]

Tell me...what do you think I meant? [this is probably a trick question.]

[tsuntrader]

I don't know. That's why I'm asking.

He isn't going to pause on it too long, to avoid the cloying discomfort of thinking too hard about anything Silver says or does. He'll just plow ahead with his poor little victim complex.]

I am telling you a simple fact, but believe what you will. [The whole story would take a long, long, long time to sort through. All it would get him in the end is more misunderstanding, so why bother?]
