[Action | June 24th]
He would have had more than enough to sustain himself during that week anyway. And given what had happened, approaching him too soon would likely have been disastrous. Even this encounter is one that Raine must steel herself for, as she travels down the tunnel, heading toward the cells. Fresh food, water, clean bandages for his wounds--though he could likely handle that himself, at this point. She needed to be prudent, after all.]
[Action | June 24th]
Hatred for this world and those pulling the strings burned in him endlessly for those days spent alone. He hates being tugged inside-out, forced to show the vulnerabilities within, and altered as though by surgery. It always feels so natural and real, and that's why he hates it. If his mind and heart can be manipulated that easily, how is he ever supposed to know whether his thoughts and feelings are his own? Especially when so much confusion already bubbles dangerously inside of him, and he's trying so hard to pretend it isn't there.
He hears someone approaching and tenses, fixing his gaze on the partition of metal bars.]
[Action | June 24th]
Entering the cell herself at this point is out of the question, but she carefully slips the fresh items in as best as she can considering the circumstances.
Once she's done, she lifts her head toward that piercing gaze.]
[Action | June 24th]
He should just stay quiet; speaking with her is always like drowning in too-warm water. If he doesn't say anything, she'll turn and leave and he won't have to deal with it. Except he knows he will - she'll leave, but the thought will still fester in his brain. He doesn't want her to get the wrong idea.]
If you thought your cheap lies had actually gotten through to me, don't. Nothing has changed.

August 1st | DURING THAT ONE HOLOGRAM EVENT OKIE DOKIE?
When the sad little heap relaxes into a sadder little heap, one can see what horror sits there: Ian Kolansky, ragged and dizzy, marks in his clothes that probably fit very well with the pattern of lion and tiger paws.]
Why... me...
August 1st | ROGER THAT
He actually jumps back a little when that shrieking blur whips past, instinctively reaching for a sword that...isn't there. Then he sees who it is.
Why him? Why?
He isn't going to say anything, just bore into the pathetic heap with an unwavering glare.]

[BACKDATED to whenever the jungle draft was.]
Raising her face, she tries to take in as much of the surroundings as she can while waiting for her friend.]
[BACKDATED to hell aka June 3rd]
Did you hurt yourself?

He shakes his head furiously. No, don't think about Donovan right now. A hand hoovers over the camera for a moment before covering it, using his other hand to write:]
We're told we should stay away from you. [He... he hates starting the conversation out like that, but he couldn't think of anything else.]
[written | november 20th]
Then why are you contacting me? [Mithos has no qualms with anyone telling others to stay away from him; it's what he wants anyway. To be left alone, never at risk for being hurt. So then why isn't this person listening? He tenses.]
[written | november 20th]
Because I don't believe you're bad. Not at heart. [Because in those furious, enraged eyes, Jeb could have sworn he saw loneliness and despair too. It's not something he can ignore, even if fear pulses through his body and vivid flashes of what happened two months ago haunt him.]

And then he opens his journal to find the following message from Mithos, who clearly hasn't recovered from his kidnapping effects yet: "Hi Yuin. How are you today?"
... Well.]
It's spelled Yuan. And I'm fine, thank you. [After a pause, he adds:] How are you?
[Written | 25th of December]
Oh sory Yuan. [he writes it carefully this time.] I'm reely good. Did you no today is called Crismis?
